Boys & Girls Club of Vista

Firstly, a huge thank you to the 20 donors who helped make this drive a possibility. We used 1,500 of the 2,800 dollars donated from the lemonade stand! With this we bought 24 kickballs, 36 football-tee-pump combos, 36 basketballs, 24 wife ball-bat combos, and 54 soccer balls. A total of 174 new pieces of sports equipment!!!!

I want to also give a huge thank you to the Boys and Girls Club of Vista! They were very easy to work with and helpful. When I arrived I was introduced to all the kids. Me and my friend Jackson Landa, who has joined Equipped 4 Life as Co-Founder, set up the sport equipment on a table to hand out as kids were picked up. At first the task of pumping up all 78 soccer balls and kickballs seemed unattainable, but a bunch of the kids attending the club were eager to help in any way they could. The kids were so engaged and helpful. Every kid was so polite and gave me a big smile and a gracious thank you as they left which meant so much to me. I might have rewarded the kids who helped with an extra ball or two, but don't tell the other kids. (shh) I found myself laughing with the kids and towards the end playing whiffle ball in the back with one kid. It was such an amazing experience that me and I know Jackson too were extremely grateful to experience. On top of all the help from the Boys and Girls Club of Vista and the kids attending, they posted a thank you on Facebook and even sent a hand-written thank you!!

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I want to give another thank you to everyone who contributed to this experience. Below I will attach some photos sharing some of the drive.

I’m incredibly excited to tell you about this new project I just started working on! It’s been a long time dream of mine to build a field and sports league for kids who can’t afford to play sports. On
